Um think tank é uma organização que cria e dissemina conhecimento sobre áreas diversas: política, economia, saúde, segurança, ciência, inovação, etc. Um think tank atua em áreas de interesse público e faz a ponte entre a academia e a socidade. Na sua atuação, um think tank estuda, analisa e pensa nos temas, para depois criar estudos de referência para gerar debate, apresentar soluções ágeis e criativas, e produzir resultados práticos. Um think tank tem como objetivo comunicar com diferentes públicos, desde decisores ao público menos informado, por isso, tem a tarefa de usar linguagem adequada a cada destinatário. Um think tanks trabalha para o desenvolvimento de políticas públicas para poder melhorar a sociedade e a vida das pessoas.

A think tank studies, analyzes, and reflects on topics, then creates benchmark studies to generate debate, present agile and creative solutions, and produce practical results. A think tank aims to communicate with different audiences, from decision-makers to the less informed public; therefore, it has the task of using the right language to each recipient. Think tanks work towards the development of public policies to improve society and people's lives.

A FAQtor-e Think Tank tem como objetivo ser interventiva e atuante, por isso, pode ser classificada como “think-and-do tank”.
Nesse sentido, a FAQtor-e Think Tank e instituições parceiras propõem:
-desenvolver projetos com empresas jr, iniciativas jr e ligas, podendo incluir a participação com pós-Jr/alumni
-garantir o aproveitamento do potencial gerado pelo movimento Jr
-oferecer possibilidades mais robustas para aquelas empresas que crescem como clientes das Jr mas depois procuram outras soluções
-criar soluções para o ecossistema
-trabalhar com mercado internacional, com atração e com expansão
-criar spin-offs com base nos projetos desenvolvidos
-pensar o futuro do ecossistema
-pensar políticas públicas e soluções para problemas básicos da sociedade.

The FAQtor-e Think Tank aims to be proactive and interventionist, therefore it can be classified as a "think-and-do tank".
Therefore, the FAQtor-e Think Tank and partner institutions propose:
- to develop projects with junior companies, junior initiatives and leagues, possibly including participation with post-Junior/alumni;
- to ensure the utilization of the potential generated by the Junior movement;
- to offer more robust possibilities for those companies that grow as clients of Junior companies but then seek other solutions;
- to create solutions for the ecosystem;
- to work with the international market, attracting and expanding;
- to create spin-offs based on the developed projects;
- to think about the future of the ecosystem;
- to think about public policies and solutions for basic societal problems.
